028-Please Allow Me To G33k The Fuck Out

So I was watching the Halo 3 teaser trailer in HD the other day, when I decided to hunt around the web for some more info about it. Well I saw Bungie's new documentary about the making of the trailer and some of the stuff they said got me thinking. See I love the whole Mythology of Halo thing. I love the way it seems to tie into Marathon, I read all three Halo books, I played I Love Bees, I just love the whole storyline. So I hopped onto the Wikipedia and looked up Halo 3. That lead me to Marathon, which lead me to the Cortana letters.

Now I haven't read the Cortana letters in probably about 18 months, but wow what an eye opener reading those again was. See the Halo 3 trailer has a shout out to not only the Cortana letters, but to Marathon. So I started getting all geeky about it. Could it all really be tied together? Could it have been planned from the start. We are talking about the ending to Halo being hinted at almost a decade ago. Fuck yeah, bring it on.

Everything I linked to is really an intresting read if you are a Halo fan and never really realized how deep the storyline ran. I'll be back with more in a bit. Thanks for being a total nerd with me.
