034-Comics For 6/14 and Comic Book/Heroclix Talk

Wow, I totally blanked on doing this yesterday I am very sorry. Trust me I try hard not to slack on this site, but it's been a busy week. Thanks for letting me work out the kinks.

These are the comics I will be picking up for 6/14 the full list can be found at the Diamond Comics website.

Civil War #2(of 7) (Marvel Comics)

Well the Civil War keeps on trucking, the biggest event of the year(in my opinion) moves on to it's second issue. I can't wait to crack this one open.

Wolverine Origins #3 (Marvel Comics)

Daniel Way writes, Steve Dillon draws, and Wolverine keeps uncovering his past, the last 2 issues were home runs lets hope they keep it up.

Ok, so that's it. Some of you may be wondering two books?? all you are getting is two books? Well here is the deal like...ALL the comics I am reading have been pushed back. Seriously...check this out.

Ultimates 2 #11-6/21
It's the Ultimates we all knew it was going to be late, I can't bitch TOO much.

All Star Superman #4-6/21
Frank Quietly is drawing, it's gonna be late, just like breathing and the heart beating it's involuntary.

New Avengers #20-6/21
I guess I sort of understand why this is late, but I don't like it. Avengers should not be late. In fact most of this Civil War stuff shouldn't be late.

Moon Knight #3-6/28
With Finch on art table you can expect delays, but let's please keep it down to just a week or two I don't want to wait months for Moon Knight.

New Avengers #21-6/28
Seeeing this is a sigh of relief it hopefully means that only issue 20 is running behind.

Ultimate Spider-Man #96-6/28
Ultimate Spider-Man LATE!?!? It's rare so I will let it slide.

Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk-7/12
I guess the rumor is that this book spoils something in The Ultimates, that better be true cause I mean...come on.

Seven Soldiers #1-CANCELLED TO BE RESOLICITED
Ok, now this one pisses me off. For those who don't know Seven Soliders was seven four-issue mini series that all interconnected. They had different artists and even came out staggered(sometimes a month or two would go by before the next issue of one of the series would pop up) and then there was the bookend issues Seven Soliders #0 and #1. It took 18 months to tell the story...18 months. Why could this issue not be fucking done in 18 months!!?!? It's going to be resolicited which means the earliest it could come out..is September. Fucking September....they had 18 months to finish this book. WTF??

So as you can see the last two weeks SHOULD be huge for me. Keep your fingers crossed.

Just got done with day 2 of Heroclix tournament playtesting and I lost this time...lost big time. I'm not going to reconsider my team though, I don't think. Playtest again tomorrow and then I'll let you know if I make any changes.
