Ok so Friday I went into work and the hours did actually seem to melt by. The first four hours were a blur and the remaining six weren't that bad. Let's hope that this can continue cause at the end of the work day on Friday we were told that the 10 hour days would continue for a while, and on top of that we would probably be working Saturdays and MAYBE Sundays. 60-70 hour work weeks, were going to be the norm for a while. I will tell you what, I am going to suck it up. I am going to do it until I feel financialy secure again, then I am gone, but I think unfortunately for me 60-70 hour work weeks might have to be my life for a while.
So I came home and read my comics(reviews soon...SORRY) and waited for Jennifer to come home. She came in the house changed, and we left to go shopping. We hit up the mall so I could get my glasses tightened. They have been very loose for a while now. We waited in the LensCrafters for like 10 minutes and no one helped me or even looked at me, so we split. We hit up the Starbucks where I tried the Pomegranite Frapucchino. It was decent, but I wouldn't get it again. It had too many other like tropical flavors in it. I hit up Borders to pick up the new InQuest magazine, which had a big feature on Magic: The Gathering's new Coldsnap expansion in it. We then hit the big grocery store here in Rockford(Woodman's) and picked up two giant cases of water. Then it was off to SUPER Wal Mart to get some groceries and other things. I ended up spending about 5 bucks more than I wanted to, but all in all I got a lot of good stuff.
Then we came home and unpacked the groceries and made a hot dog and french fry dinner, which is like the only thing Jennifer enjoys making for Dinner. After much hemming and hawing we decided to take the 15 mile drive over the IL WI border and buy some fireworks. The 15 mile drive became a 90 minute drive due to traffic and construction. Then once we got to the fireworks place the lines were 7 people deep at all the registers with people asking all kinds of stupid questions. (What does this one do???) I being the one who likes to research everything to death already knew the exact stuff I wanted, and once I finally got to the register I was like "this, this, and this. Bam! Done! We then took the 15 minute drive home and by then it was past eleven and we went to bed.
