070-A Nice Long One

I think I have not posted in about a week now, sorry about that. I knew this would end up happening though. Sorry. Work has bee kicking my ass, kicking my ass so bad in fact that I think I got hurt at work. I was pulling this like half ton pallet when I felt something go in my foot. Needless to say I have this bizzare combo of the worst pain ever in my foot and a 100 degree fever, and I was supposed to go to Warped Tour today..ha! Glad that didn't work out. Tomorrow it's going to be 100 degrees outside how rad is that going to be. See here in IL most of the time we are braving -10 degree days and digging ourselves out of snow drifts. So when the weather hits 100 I say bring it. We only get it like 2 months out of the year.

So I guess I can't blog without mentioning comics. I just looked at previews for October and oh my I think my order is already up over $70 for the month. My comics for the last two weeks of July came in on Thursday and I just got to read them yesterday after work. Civil War #3 took my breath away, someone spoiled the ending for me, and I still didn't see it coming. It's such an engaging book. Civil War Front Line #4 just shows me that Paul Jenkins can do no wrong. Civil War: Young Avengers/Runaways #1 was good, but I don't see where it fits exactly into the overall continuity. Since the YA are off trying to bring the Runaways in to help Captain America's side, but over in CW #3 the YA are getting captured by S.H.E.I.L.D. agents. Brian Michael Bendis wrote one of the best comics of his career in New Avengers #22, Lenil Yu was an odd choice for an artist on this, but the writing was insane. Such a good book, oh and over in Grant Morrison's first issue of Batman, Batman shoots the Joker in the face. Yeah....no biggie.

My computer I want to build is coming along very slowly and I still might end up with a Dell. Yeah....I know. I'll keep you posted.

Speaking of Dell's my sister's laptop crapped out on her, and she brought it by so I could fix it for her.......and I did. I was pretty proud of myself. I definately think the A+ exam is in my near future.

Speaking of my future...I hear rumors of a t-shirt company....that I might be running....with a friend....keep your fingers crossed.
