I left you dear readers hanging back in September with me just starting to get back into Magic: the Gathering. Well a lot has changed in those four months. A month after playing in that Time Spiral pre-release tournament, the World of Warcraft TCG was released, and it has changed everything. I have ditched the physical version of Magic all together, I MIGHT still play online, but that is a BIG might. In favor of the most refreshing card game since Decipher's Lord of the Rings TCG. It is one of the best single player experiences in card gaming, it IS THE BEST multiplayer experience, and so far the tournament support has been phenomenal. There are between 6-8 of us at any given time who play in our group and between us we have bought 7 boxes of product.
Upper Deck has a massive hit on their hands, and in April the first expansion hits, as well as a "fine art" set. I also had the privilege of palying in WoW's first Regional tournament. I didn't do very well, but I was proud of the way I played never letting my opponent beat me 2 straight in a best 2 out of 3 match.
The dynamic of Horde Vs. Alliance makes the multiplayer games a real treat. Play alternates between each faction in an attempt to kill the opposing factions heroes. However, the most amazing Multiplayer component is the Raid Decks so far there is only one(Onyxia's Lair) but we have played all night sessions trying to slay the black dragon. She even drops loot in the form of a pack of 10 ultra-rare foil equipment cards.
Seriously I can't say enough about this game. If you play the MMO there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't be playing this, and if you just like good games, well this is the one.
