136-Leaked Halo 3 Beta Footage

If you are anything like me then by now you have seen the Halo 3 footage that hit yesterday. If not go ahead an click the link. Joystiq also put up an analysis of the footage today. We get to see some pretty cool stuff, like the new version of Zanzibar which looks fantastic. You also get to see the bubble shield in action, some mysterious blue thing and something called a power diverter something or other. The guy in the footage doesn't actually use it, so I don't know what it does.

I want to scream and shout and say how awesome I think it is, but that seems a bit too Halo fanboyish, basically it looks like Halo 2 multiplayer with some huge improvements(Veto in matchmaking!!) I can't wait to play with. May 16th may only be about 3 weeks away, but it feels like it's about 3 years away. Hopefully the stuff seen in this footage makes it's way into the public beta(well...we know the new Zanzibar wont) cause it all seems super rad.
