The Ice Storm Of The Century

So all day yesterday the news was that there was going to be a vicious ice storm for 12 hours. We even got like three emails warning us to make sure we took enough time to get to work safely and more importantly ON TIME. It was all over the news and other states had been hit hard. Over half a million people were or are without power. So I was prepared for the worst.

I woke up to grey clouds and a thin layer of ice on my car, but that was about it. Now supposedly it's raining outside now, and that could freeze overnight on top of that I am seeing that there is going to be rain, sleet, and snow well into the wee hours. So more than likely tomorrow is going to be worse.

We were talking about meteorologists this morning...and how they are pretty much just guessers. We want to see a weatherman who just comes out with a magic 8 ball. "Well Katie I'll have to ask again later. Come back at 5:30 to find out if I know what the weather is then."
