046-EGM Is Angry

So thanks to the awesome video game blog site Joystiq which I have now linked over there on the left. Seriously, if you want to know about video games this is where you need to head, multiple times a day. I snagged a free year subscription to Electronic Gaming Monthly or EGM for short. A few years ago this was my favorite video game magazine, but as my subscription ran on it felt more like a pamphlet and less like a magazine. I could breeze through an issue in under 5 minutes, so I stopped reading it. Then back in November Peter Moore offered himself up for interviews and high fives and asskissing after the Xbox 360 launch. Well the 360's launch wasn't all that perfect and getting one after launch was near impossible. Only now are Xbox 360s really out in the market. Well EGM Editor in Chief Dan "Shoe" Hsu jumped at the chance to talk with Mr. Moore, and tear him a new one. It was a vicious interview, and Hsu criticized Microsoft's every launch move, leaving a talkative Moore almost speechless(or at least that's what was said). Well I just got the new issue(it has Call of Duty 3 on the cover) and EGM once again rips someone apart, this time it's Sony and their rediculous $599 price point for the Playstation 3. It's an amazing interview and the Sony spokesperson is totally caught off guard and his answers are totally horrendous. It's worth it just to read this interview you will laugh yourself silly.
