093-Alright, Where Were We

So Upper Deck released Demo Decks for the World of Warcraft card game a couple of days ago, and you can bet your ass I grabbed a couple. Yes, I have already played a game with em. Yes, it's a great fucking game. Yes, it's pretty much everything I wanted it to be. With one minor complaint/exception. Your hero which is the centerpiece of your deck, CAN'T attack without a weapon. Basically your hero the card which the game centers it's world around is defenseless unless you get him/her a weapon pronto. Of course if your Hero could attack easily the game would actually crumble under it's own weight. Why? Cause Allies are the actual focal point of the game. Yup, your deck will be CRAMMED full of allies. Allies that "protect" your hero or will draw away the fire of your opponents allies. Personally after just a short amount of time with the 1 on 1 PVP portion of the game I think the real magic in the WoW TCG will be the Raid decks. Where five friends get together and four of them play their hero decks while the other one plays "the dungeon" it's a bit much to get into right now, but I think that's where the fun of this game is, but we shall see. The first raid deck launches three weeks after the main set.

For those who were wondering about Jennifer and her surgery, well everything is ok. She recovered nicely and what they removed wasn't cancerous.

Ok how fucking awful was the Video Music Awards last night. Holy shit, first of all it felt like it was thrown together overnight. Seriously there was stuff that didn't even work. Like they would announce something and then thrity or fourty seconds would pass and nothing would happen. Jack Black didn't host as much as he would come out and do like a Jack Blackism and then announce the presenter. The only highlights were Panic! At The Disco's performance, them winning Video of the Year(!!!!) and Fall Out Boy taking Viewer's Choice. I would also like to point out that about this time last year I predicted Panic's success.....you know just saying. I think MTV needs to take a year off from their phony award show.
