So first it was blogs, and then it was MySpace, and now it's Facebook. A few days ago I was suckered over there by a guy in a trench coat who flashed me promises of interactivity and the ability to write on my friend's "walls". So I headed over there and I hated it. I had no "network" which was embarrassing, and I couldn't figure anything out. I hate being poked in real life and being poked on the internet seems even creepier. Then on Saturday while I was wrapping my head around FeedBurner I came across a bunch of ways to make my blog and Facebook become pretty much a single entity. Actually to make it more like Voltron, my blog and Facebook would remain two seperate lions, but in times of need they could combine forces for the greater good. The greater good being me.
The thing I don't like about Facebook, my first and last name are on display. I don't know why that makes me nervous, but it does. I guess I will live though. There is a lot of interactivity going on over there and it feels much more stable than the ol' MySpace. So I guess it's see you in hell MySpace...Facebook here I come.
