125-This Is Not Going To Be Good

Clicking this link, could ruin your life. Seriously. It's the start of an ARG, otherwise known as an Alternate Reality Game. I don't know if I could articulate to you exactly what an ARG is, but basically it is a series of websites, and real life interactions with fictional people that can absolutely take up every second of your life. You will be driving in the car wondering how all the pieces fit, you will sign up for message boards and argue with people about what a completely fictional person meant when they said something.

ARG's come and go all the time, but some are so powerful that their gravity sucks me into them completely. This one, is for "Year Zero" the new album by Nine Inch Nails. Trent Reznor the head of Nine Inch Nails proclaimed earlier this year that the new album was going to tell a story, like a soundtrack to a movie that does not exist. So how were they going to tell this story. Well, I think the answers are right in front of you.
