So as you can see by my newly added Gamercard, I have been playing some Crackdown. I played a couple of hours solo last night, and today after work I jumped into some co-op with a friend. How do I feel about the full game? About the same as I felt about the demo. I love the way the game is structured, even with very little structuring. Take out a gang boss, and then fuck around in the city until it's time to take on the next gang boss. Then take down the kingpin. I defeated all the bosses on the first island, and have decided to just screw around building up my stats until it's time to move on to island #2.
Playing in co-op is fun, but if you aren't up to par with your friends skills, they may just out move, out gun, and out jump you. It's a tad frustrating thinking "well I could just be playing by myself and upping my stats". So co-op I think is for when you max out all your stats, and just want to blow shit up with a friend.
So if your like me and can't stand thugging it up in Grand Theft Auto, maybe hop on over to the wonderful sci-fi world of Crackdown. I don't think you will regret it.
