So the other night I stopped at 7-11 to see if they had the new Halo 3 Slurpee cups. Sure enough they had a huge stack of them, I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the Halo 3 Mountain Dew Slurpee flavor even though the actual soda tastes like shit. Halo 3 deserves a better beverage than that. I didn't like any of the other flavors of Slurpee they had so I just grabbed the empty cups to buy, knowing full well that I would have to pay full price for the cups despite the fact that they were sans slurpee.
I brought the cups up to the counter and said "I just want to pay for the cups". He then argued with me for 2 minutes about how I have to pay full price for the cups even though I wasn't getting a slurpee. I knew that going up to the counter, but we were having a language problem I think.
Anyways, last night I was at Wal Mart and was flipping through that stupid poster rack while Jennifer was in the bathroom, and as I flipped past High School Musical 2 and Hannah Montana posters I saw not one, but two Halo 3 posters. I decided to pick up the teaser poster with the Halo 3 numerical logo shooting out of the ground from the E3 '06 trailer. It looks so cool I am going back today to get the other one. So with that poster in the background and the cups in front of it, I have a little Halo 3 shrine going. Now I just need to pick up the Halo 3 controllers and get the tiny little Master Chief action figures.
