Wow, what a load of crap my day has been since I got home from work. I just got done monkeying with my Xbox 360's NAT settings. Apparently I have been playing on a strict NAT so I had to do port forwarding in my router settings until my NAT was open. I guess it's going to help me clear up some problems I was having finding games. I also was unable to host a co-op game of Crackdown. Which was what I wanted to do today, get some orbs. I need about 70 more orbs, and I wanted to play it on a higher difficulty so I could finally unlock the Master Agent achievement. Oh well I will get back to Crackdown eventually.
The other shitty thing that happened today was the muffler fell off my fucking car. Yeah....I was driving back from the post office and all of a sudden I heard the unmistakable sound of a dragging muffler behind my car. I pulled off into a cul de sac behind a cemetery, and sure enough there was my muffler hanging off the back of the car. So I was only about two and a half miles from home. I hopped in the car and attempted to make a turn in the de sac and I couldn't make the turn. So I backed up and no longer heard the sound as I pulled forward. I looked back to see the muffler OFF the car. I went to go pick it up, and the fact that it was a part of my car combined with the 90+ degree heat made the muffler very warm. I kind of burned my hand trying to pick it up from the ground. Luckily I had this gym bag in my car and I used it to pick up the muffler. I had my girlfriend's dad take a look at it, and he's not sure if it can go back on. Combine this with the fact that the A/C blew in my car last week and my car which just hit 5 years old this month already feels like 100,000 mile plus clunker.
On the good news front Bungie announced that there WILL BE four player co-op in Halo 3 over Xbox Live!!! HELLL YEAH!! Player 1 is the Chief, Player 2 is the Arbiter(I choose you Arbiter!) Player 3 is an Elite as well as Player 4. I can't wait, September 25th feels like lifetimes away. In other awesome Bungie/Xbox Live news Marathon hits Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow(technically tonight 12am PST)! I will be rocking that shit all night tomorrow. You might remember that Marathon for XBLA is one of my five most anticipated games of the year, and I was really not expecting it until September but to have almost two months to play around with Marathon before the release of Halo 3 is great great news.
That's about all I have for today, but in between rounds of Marathon I will be sure to blog it up.
