So EA is saying that BioWare and Pandemic are creating 10 new franchises. This makes me very scared. BioWare loving crafts every game they make taking years to even release one game. 10 new franchises sound awful. Let's hope the quality doesn't suffer. You can read an article on it here.
In site news, I am trying to figure out why Technorati and this blog aren't playing nice. I think there are some big changes coming to the blog this year. I have a friend who designs sites and I think instead of using a blogger template I am actually going to have a coded site. Fingers crossed.

In The Interest Of Being Honest With You
I added more ads and streamlined them a bit. This will probably be the last time I tweak and add ads. My goal is eventually to remove them, but for now it helps. Thanks.

199-Death To The Number Scheme
So it looks like this blog may become.....much more bloggier. I have invited some friends to start joining me in blogging. I don't know if they are going to or not, but the invites are out there. So since multiple people will be blogging from multiple locations I have to put a bullet in the numbering scheme. So starting with post number 200 you will not see any numbers in the titles. Not that they were needed anyway, I just kind of did it for fun. I can't believe that a little over a year since starting this blog I have 200 posts. I can't say they were all quality posts but hopefully by August this site will be a lean mean blogging machine full of high quality stuff to read.
If this is your first time reading a post here or your one hundred and ninety ninth thanks for stopping by hopefully things are just getting good.

155-Explaining 154
So the last post was my first attempt at using a Windows Live tool that basically helps you post cool things you find on the web. Now I'm not sure if I was supposed to blatantly rip off an entire WOW Insider article like that or if I was supposed to inject my own commentary, but it was my first try. Would it be a big deal if I posted an entire page? I don't know give me some time, and I'll get the hang of it.

151-It's Official!
I like this Windows Live Writer thingy. I think I am going to use it from now on. In the meantime I will be thinking of a cool new domain name. If you have any suggestions you should drop me a line to let me know.
Oh remember a few months back when I said Manhunt 2 was going to be the most controversial game ever. Well if you have been keeping up with your video game news you know I was right. It's old news so I wont rehash it, but hopefully that game sees the light of day, cause I would like to give it a whirl.
Oh so you might be asking yourself how I am using Windows Live Writer when I clearly was a Mac user. Well kids....I broke down and built myself a PC to play games on. I thought it was a pretty good PC, but I am finding out that it's kinda low end for gaming. It scores a 4.1 out of 5.9 on the Windows Vista Experience index. I put a 1.8ghz Core 2 Duo in it, 2 gigs of Value Ram, a 250gb HDD, and a Nvidia 8600 in it. It turns out I should have went SLI and maybe a faster processor. I may try to overclock the CPU, but since I have no clue how that kind of stuff works I might hold off.
I started the Beta for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars over the weekend, and my computer seems to handle it fine with things turned up a few notches, but I tried to play it with settings all the way up and it looked more like I was sending myself postcards from the battlefield.
I ran 3D Mark 06 on the computer yesterday for fun, and got a way low score. Like in the high 4000's. I dunno. Anyone have any tips on how to eek some performance out of this thing?

135-Ugh...
So why I go away for so long I am not sure. Well actually I can tell you where I have been.
AZEROTH bitch! Yes..I FINALLY have my first level 60 character in fact as of Sunday he is level 61. So that explains a good chunk of my absence. I finally got into Outland and wow...it's like playing a totally different game. Things actually seem like they are happening around you, and you really do get a sense of storyline and drama. I'm a big fan of Outland so far and I think I have really only seen about 50% of Hellfire Peninsula.
Also we have kept on trucking with the card game out here. A couple of weeks ago a new set titled Through the Dark Portal hit the shelves and I will do my best to review it in a couple of days.
I'm keeping a Twitter now as well...you can see it on the left. Think of it as text messaging for the blog. By the way I totally ripped off the idea from Major Nelson.
Speaking of Xbox 360 I beat Crackdown and am putting that disc away until May 16th, and have FINALLY started to work through Gears of War. You can check my progress on my Gamercard which like the Twitter is to the left.
So I'm back...I'll be posting things again and I think this sums up everything.

119-Having Some Site Issues
So I have been goofing around with FeedBurner, and it's not doing what I want it to do. Particularly the FeedFlare feature. There are supposed to be some links at the end of every post, and it's not working. So if you have any experience with FeedBurner I could use the help. In the meantime you might see some posts appear and disappear as I test out the features.

115-Just So You Know
On the sidebar I added some ways to keep updated with the site. You can add the feed to your favorite RSS Feed Reader(I like Google Reader) or you can even receive my posts as Emails. Also anytime I run across a news story I want to share with you, my dear readers, it will appear in the sidebar.
Sweet.
Talk to you about nerdy stuff soon.

090-Oh One Other Thing!
Before I go to bed I just wanted to point out that for the time being the ads are gone. No one clicks on em, and it just kind of makes things cluttery, so screw it. No more ads not at least until I think I could maybe make some money off of them, but for now not enough hits equals not enough clicks equals who needs ads anyways.

089-Last Of The Changes?
Well unless I find something else that seems terribly important I am done updating the site and personal blogging will resume tomorrow. I added that Joystiq feed like I said, but I don't know if it will stay. Basically I added it cause everytime I mention something video game related 9.9 times out of 10 I got it from Joystiq. So there you go. One of the new blogger features is to assign labels to each post. So for your convenience I have added a series of links on the sidebar that will let you jump right to the labels. Pretty neat huh?
Ok talk to you tomorrow about the WoW TCG and Nintendo DS Lite.

088-Construction Continues...
So I have been toying around with some of the new blogger features, and today I turned that ugly block of black text that showed my recently played tracks and turned it into a feed that matches the look of the blog. I might add a Joystiq feed as well. Look for a few more changes by the end of the day tomorrow and everything should be back to normal.
Thanks!
