So I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. Mine was pretty fun, save for getting sick to my stomach and a touch of gout on Sunday night. Yes that's right I am 26 years old and I get gout. I get it in my feet and in my knee. I spent about 3 years with this pain coming and going, and no doctor being able to tell me what it is, until just a few months ago. Now I have an anti-gout medicine and when I get flare ups I just pop a pill and a few hours later I am good to go.
Engadget has an interesting write up on the Xbox 360 chatpad that will be available on store shelves by the end of the week. They like it, but they don't. I want one, but I'm not sure if I have the need for it yet. It would be great for entering text into forms, but quite frankly not enough of my friends use Windows Live Messenger to make the chatpad worth my 30 bucks.
However, worth my 60 bucks this week will be one of the new Halo 3 limited edition controllers. The brute one is ok looking, but I love the Spartan one. It will be interesting to see just how limited they will be, but I am hoping to pick one up before the 25th, so I can Finish The Fight in style.
Apple is announcing a metric ton of new stuff tomorrow if you believe the hype. I'll be sure to let readers know what goes down as soon as I can. Then I will do everything in my power not to buy all of it the next day.
