So For Some Reason...

I am watching the MTV Video Music Awards I guess just out of habit. I can tell they are already taking themselves way too seriously, and they are totally jerking themselves off over this OMG WE ARE IN LAS VEGAS OMG THE RED CARPET RUNS THROUGH THE SLOT MACHINES OMG THE BANDS ARE PLAYING IN THE ROOMS!!

Fall Out Boy are being interviewed right now and they look so uncomfortable being asked these dumb questions. I guess while I try to ignore this show I can just ramble. Last night I wanted to just chill out and play Gears of War, but fate intervened and I ended up at the movies seeing Superbad. The movie is pretty funny, if not way over the top with the situations and the swearing. It's almost jarring at times, and almost takes you out of the movie. However....there is one huge bright shining star in this movie and it's Michael Cera. This kid is a genius, I didn't watch Arrested Development, but because of him I almost want to DVR all the reruns. I was already in love with Clark and Michael, but seeing him on the big screen stealing almost every scene with just a facial expression was awesome. So if you haven't seen it yet, see it just for Michael Cera.

Alright back to this craptacular Video Music Awards, they are doing the show like I said in a casino....and they keep mentioning how all the stars are too young to actually BE IN THE CASINO! Who at fucking MTV thought this was a good idea. It's driving me up the wall. Oh and P.S. The Hills is not a reality show...in case you were still wondering, just watch this awkward interview with "the cast". Where Suchin Pak tries to keep up the charade that it's a reality show while the cast looks at her like what the fuck are you talking about.

Ok...so why the fuck has it taken me so long to listen to Manchester Orchestra?? Ummmm....holy shit, they were on Letterman the other night and blew me away. I listened to a few of their songs on MySpace today and then popped onto iTunes and found their album for $7.99 so I bought the shit out of it. It's so incredible. I can't even...oh man. They are amazing. Serious.
